“Triggered” A Trauma-Informed Coping Skills Workshop ENROLLMENT OPEN!

Are you struggling to handle your biggest feelings? What does it mean to get triggered? And more importantly, what are you supposed to do when you get triggered by something?

I’d like to announce a 4-week, 1-hour online workshop to get you answers to these questions. It is based on broad research on trauma from various experts, and my clinical experience as a PTSD-therapist.

I personally crafted this workshop to help you handle your biggest feelings and I will be facilitating it live.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll

  • Figure out what’s really bothering you
  • Overreact less
  • Get back to thinking clearly
  • Get even more out of therapy

We’ll be practicing the very same coping skills I review with people in the early sessions of EMDR therapy so they’re ready for the intense experience of processing their past experiences.

We’ll be meeting as a small group 4 times in November, and the fee is $129.00 TOTAL. For the whole workshop! You’re getting FOUR HOURS of practice with a therapist for less than the cost of one hour…or for less than the typical cost of 4 copays.

The workshop is not based on you telling your whole story. It’s based in learning a strategy, practicing it together, and then giving you a week to try it out in your own life and ask questions.

To join us, you must:

  • Be age 18 or older
  • Provide your name and contact information
  • Be kind and respect others’ humanity and privacy.
  • Have and internet connection that can connect to Google Meet
  • Connect to the meetings from a California location
  • Be able to log on as scheduled (there will be no recordings of this group)

You’re a great candidate for this workshop if you’ve been fighting a frustrating memory, reaction, or situation.

This workshop is for you if you want to keep everything together but can’t seem to manage do it when you get overwhelmed.

You’d be great for this workshop if you need a little refresher of some healthy ways to handle your feelings.

You’re a great for this if you can attend a few zoom calls and follow written and verbal instructions.

You’re welcome to join us if you have another therapist OR if you don’t. (With a signed release-of-information, I’m happy to keep your therapist in the loop.)

Please attend if you are an adult who can treat people of all abilities, ethnicities, identities, spiritual faiths, and sizes as fully human and fully equal.
